Dr. Pooja Agrahari (SRF-ICMR, PDF- UGC) completed B.Sc. in Bio-stream and M.Sc. in Zoology with specialization in Entomology in 2008. After awarded Ph.D degree in 2013 from D.D.U. Gorakhpur University, Gorakhpur joined UGC Post Doctoral Women Scientist Fellowship from 2014. Currently working as Assistant Professor (Sr. Scale) in the Department of Zoology, C.M. Science College, Darbhanga, Bihar from October 2019 to till date and head of department of zoology from February 2025 to till date. She is actively engaged in the study of fasciolosis and snail control over the last 15 years. A number of new method (Bait Formulation) have been developed for the plant based natural compounds which were found effective to control of vector snails. Her work is recognized internationally in the field of formulation and used of bio-pesticides for integrated vector management. She has published several research and review articles in International reputed Journals having good impact factors. Her Research interest score has more than 340 with 270 citations and 7- h index.
