Dr. Irshad Ahmad born in Darbhanga, Bihar. He completed his B.Sc. and M.Sc. in Chemistry from Department of Chemistry, AMU,  Aligarh. He Obtained Ph.D. degree from Department of Applied Sciences, JMI University, New Delhi-25. He have been published several research papers in SCI and peer reviewed Journals.

Since 2019 , Dr. Irshad Ahmad served as an Assistant Professor (Guest Faculty) in the University Polytechnic, Faculty of Engineering and Technology, JMI University. New Delhi-25. Afterward Continuously working as a Assistant Professor (Contractual) in Department of Chemistry, C.M. Science College, LNMU, Darbhanga.

His research interests include the traces of toxic metals entities from aqueous solutions by the implications of Ml-Nanomaterials. He skilled in instrumentation techniques such as- DTA, TGA, DSC, XRD, SEM-EDX, UV- Visible Spectrophotometer, Solvent Extraction Unit, Solvothermal and Hydrothermal Synthesis, Hydraulic Press Machine, Distillation Assembly Unit,
