Dr. Md Osaid Alam is an Assistant Professor of Environmental Science in C.M. Science College, Darbhanga, Bihar. He holds Ph.D. in Environmental Science, along with an M.Sc. in Environment Management and a B.Sc. (Hons.) in Environmental Science. He has qualified UGC-NET and ASRB (ICAR)-NET in Environmental Sciences. With around seven years of professional experience, he served as a Research Associate- III in the Department of Environment, Forest & Climate Change, Government of Bihar. In 2020, he worked as a Research Associate at the India Meteorological Department, Pune. Prior to that, he was engaged as guest faculty at Patna University. His academic and research interests include climate change, environmental pollution, wetland management, and arsenic biogeochemistry and mobilization. He has contributed to academia with multiple publications, including international journal articles, conference papers, book chapters, and research reports.
